Red Wigglers Composting Worms

Students from 4 3rd grade classes have been helping to take care of the worms. We have them stored in a back corner so they are out of the way. Each week a new class gets to take over taking care of them.

This was a great experience. The worms arrived with no problem. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It is clear they have a passion for the worms and want everyone to have an excellent experience and learn the importance of composting and worms.

Our students were so excited to see the worms arrive. They were wondering how far worms can travel in that bad, how do they get food and water, and if one worm dies will they all die. These were well thought questions in order to start our worm unit. Thank you for providing a hands-on learning experience.
