This insert is designed to break before the bike computer's mounting tabs do. This happened to me a few weeks ago when I wrecked. The bike computer was fine, and all I needed to replace was this single plastic part. I'm really happy with how this worked, and K-Edge's design in general.

Hammerhead Replacement Insert Kit

Exactly what I needed. High quality item as I knew it would be, I've purchase a K-Edge mount before when I bought a second bike and needed a mount for my Karoo 2. This is for my third bike which came with a Garmin front end mount and I just needed to change the insert to fit my Karoo 2. This is the perfect solution. Nice and sturdy. Fit and finish is great. Highly recommend this insert if you have the same issue.
