I ordered the cable because my PEAX Green headlamp stopped charging. I had to use my PEAX Red headlamp with the older connection to charge batteries. I talked with Ethan at customer service and he was awesome trouble shooting and getting me the warranty paperwork, he was awesome. I have a few different PEAX items, stove, lights, walking sticks. The gear is awesome and the customer service is excellent.

Battery issues

Recently bough two new batteries for a light that's around two years old. I wasn't getting the advertised run times with original battery (maybe and hour on high) so I bought some off-brand batteries to use as backup. These batteries had short runtimes as well. I've since learned, through use in cameras and feeders, that these "amazon" rechargeables can die off quickly even though they are showing good voltage. Soooo, I decided to give the Duo another chance by purchasing two peax batteries. So far so good. I tested a fully charged battery and it ran almost 9 hours on high non-stop. ** my original peax battery is dead and wont take a charge. It's showing some corrosion under the + contact.

Good & bad

Love the way this headlamp works, and really like the long battery life. The down side is that after 2 years of minimal use, the battery charge light would not come on when charging. Also wouldn't charge up with the new battery and new charge cord I purchased. Love that the warranty was good and Peax took it bake to fix.
