TrailBlazer 450

Surprising uses but always comes through.

Purchased these units to help run a golf tournament and stay in touch with some volunteers. The radios were a perfect solution. These worked so well they are going out with me for duck hunting. The weather and weather alerts will definitely come in handy while out in the middle of no where and USB-C charging means I can charge it anywhere. Car, golf cart, side by side. Best feature yet is the flashlight because knowing my buddies, they will drop this thing at night and would never find it. Excellent purchase for any outdoor activity, especially here in the Ozarks. Communication can get extremely difficult extremely fast down in the river valleys when on the trails. The sound is crystal clear and the volume is easily loud enough. Glad I bought them for the golf tournament because they go every where with me now.

2-Way the Cobra Way

This is one of the best two radios I’ve ever had. So many different options to make for clear channel communication. There are security codes you can use to make sure you have private conversations. Plus, it has scanner features that allow you to scan different channels in cases of emergencies. The distance on the communication on the radio is better than any radio I’ve ever tried. We use these when we went camping and we were able to communicate over a 3 mile area. The battery will last for 5 to 6 hours depending on how much you’re using the radio. It’s splash proof so it’s designed to take competing out in the wild. I would highly recommend this radio for anyone looking for a two way radio at a good value price.

Excellent radios for hiking, camping, and mountain use

These Cobra TrailBlazer 450 GMRS radios are awesome! I haven't put them through the wringer yet, but I've tested them around my home and in the Utah mountains, and they have performed exactly how I hoped—clear signal, sturdy construction, and reliable communication in the great outdoors. The rechargeable batteries easily held a charge through a weekend trip, and the weather-resistant design gives me confidence taking them on more demanding trips. These are going to be great for upcoming family hiking and camping trips in Arches and Zion National Parks, where my kids love to wander. They feel well-built, they're super easy to use, and they're great to have for anyone who spends time off the cell phone grid. Overall, these are a great value and an excellent choice for families, hikers, campers, and anyone who wants reliable radios for backcountry adventures. *I received these radios as part of a promotion in exchange for my honest review. *
