Wonderful tool, perfect size for final shaping sticks and rungs, I also use it to rough out shaped legs for tables, chairs and cabinets.
Holds an edge and easy to sharpen.
The fit and finish make it a pleasure to use, I find myself looking for excuses to bring it out of the tool cabinet

I love this tool. It has quickly become a favorite for me when shaping seats. Being able to go bevel up or down, push or pull, it allows me to shape a seat with ease, only switching it out for a low-angle spokeshave to clean up any rough spots. I haven't used it yet for spoons, but I have no doubt it will excel there, as well. A+ tool.
