I have a 2020 RAV4 and recently bought the new iPhone18. While my old phone connected to CarPlay wired just fine, this new phone never stayed connected (constant crashes, not loading at all). I figured it was because of the older technology in the vehicle not working with the new phone. I looked into wireless CarPlay options and Magic Link constantly appeared in my searches/for-you pages. have had it now for a week or so. started well but the last 3 or 4 days it continuously disconnects. very frustrating. seeking solutions now and will report back.
