Falls short of control surface integration
The plugin is great but all of your compressor plugin meters do not work with my SSL UC1 control surface meters so I use Slate plugins instead. You really y need to step your game up as you are behind what your competitors offer. You were a leader in the industry for years and I love the sound of your products but they need to be able to interface with control surfaces better. Luna needs to be able to work with control surfaces. I use Vision API channel strips with Studio One and SSL 360. This works so much better than trying to use a mouse inside Luna. You need to get together with SSL and develop a protocol that allows the SSL UC1 and UF8 surfaces to communicate directly with Luna's internal channel strip processing. Please get back to being an industry leader. In my opinion Luna hasn't evolved much in the last 4 years and needs a major release with better integration with other industry leaders. SSL with 360 has been a game changer. With more pros mixing in the box the CONTROL SURFACES,. DAWS and PLUGINS are the future. Get on board or be left behind. Luna is a beautiful DAW and I love the analog look and feel. Without the control surface integration it falls way short of the industry leader it could be.

Very Good
I use SSL hardware on the X8P (SSL Preamps like Pure Drive Quad): These sounds outstanding. The SSL emulation that UAD produces is close to the hardware. The hardware sounds three-dimensional, more complex, powerful, but the UAD emulation can only be recognized as such if you hear the hardware in direct comparison.

Great plugin, but...
Unfortunately, it uses twice as much CPU as any other SSL channel strip that I have. Sounds great, but not twice as good as the others.
