Minimalist Panda Gi
Your Daily Training Gi Shouldn't Cost $200.
It also shouldn't fall apart after six months.
The Minimalist Panda Gi was built for the everyday grappler, light enough for long training sessions, durable enough for years of mat time, and priced so you can finally own more than one gi.

These are quickly becoming my favorite keiko gis. They are light enough for the truly hot days in our unairconditioned Dojo, but more than strong enough for grabs and hard use. I’ve been recommending them to my friends and students.

Great Gi - Just Needs a Longer Pants String!
I love the new Minimalist Gi - it’s perfect for training in Houston! My only complaint is that the drawstring needs to be about 9-12” longer. Once I’ve tied knots at the end of the strings, it’s difficult to do a good double slip knot.

The gi is comfortable, but I hate the elastic rope in the pants. I tried tying it before washing. When it came out of the dryer it was out of the pants and took a considerable amount of time to get it restrung. Wish you would use a flat strand of rip stop fabric instead.
