Almost perfect

I have 3 pairs of the Interval shorts and wanted to try something a little different and lighter. The Session shorts are definitely lighter. They are comfortable, just like the Interval shorts. I don’t do any running in the shorts, primarily weightlifting and HIIT. I personally prefer the feel, fit, and pockets of the Interval shorts. Here are the issues I’ve found with the Session shorts (same size as my Interval shorts): (1) The zippered pockets. The left and right zippered pockets are not the same. The right zippered pocket is what I would call a “normal” pocket in size and location. On the Ten Thousand website, it’s listed as the “Zippered phone pocket @ wearer's right. ” The left pocket is listed as “Zippered card pocket @ wearer's left “ and the zipper is in the same location as the one on the right, but the pocket pouch is structured and aligned to hold items to the side and back, not the side and front like a “normal” pocket. It’s just weird. (2) The waist band. The waist band is looser and more flimsy than the Interval waist band. It wouldn’t be a big deal, but even with synching down the drawstrings, the shorts hang to one side if the pocket has a phone or heavier item in it. I think if I was solely using them for running and didn’t keep the phone in the right phone pocket, my small issues with the shorts would be even smaller.

Perfect workout short

Best overall shorts I own. I wear them daily to train in. They tend to stretch out over not that juice time though.

Sessions are my favorite gym shorts. Period.

The Session shorts have been my go-to gym shorts for 10 years. I’ve tried other brands and they just don’t compare in quality, fit, or performance.
