Ephemeral Oud is an oil-based perfume (mukhallat) that plays with a unique idea: it uses some of the most enduring materials in perfumery: oud, florals, resins, and woods, to create something as fleeting as the mist of Iranian rose otto at sunrise.
The scent begins with Shah Gul by resident artisan of AlHind Oud, a Rosa damascena from Kas

I love ephemeral oud with all if my heart. It first opens for me very woodsy and earthy and herbal, very green, and then after a bit it turns into a nice, sweeter, flowery and bright scent that leaves me sniffing my hand constantly. I can’t get enough of it. This is off of my first impressions, and I have to admit, I did swipe a tiny bit on right as it got delivered to my door, so it may have a little bit of mail shock, but I can’t wait to see how this fragrance flourishes and stuns me further.
