Since there areban abundance of small batch coffee roasters I am always skeptical about another. The packaging was very nice. The ground coffee looked a bit lighter than my usual choice in the grocery store and the smell was....different. I use the pour over method. I proceded with the typical poor over method. I must say the coffee was strong and smooth. I really enjoyed it. No harsh after taste , as some of the dark roast types can produce. Well done. I recommend you give this a try.

This is my husband's favorite dark roast coffee. It's rich and strong without being bitter or overly earthy. We had to make it a monthly subscription!

Great tasting coffee, goes great with reading old dead guy books. I will definitely be trying other roasts for sure.
