New favorite boot

I did not expect these to be so comfortable to wear, considering all the leather and weight. But the seriously roomy toe-box tricked me into ordering a half-size down to compare just to make sure they weren't too big. Turns out they weren't! Wearing 8.5 in these, same as my diplomats. Diplomats are a bit more snug with less toe-box, but both fit great. The pull-up leather is starting to crease at the break between upper and toe, giving the toe cap a darker look. Looks super cool. I did add a no-show kiltie to help keep the thin tongue flat. They look great, and I can wear them all day. I like that I can wear them with straight cut or mild-tapered jeans, instead of feeling like I need to pretend I can wear skinny jeans. Here's to getting a long-life out of these babies.

These boots are comfortable right out of the box. Fit perfect and look fantastic.

Quality feels very good. Break in has been tough. Stick with it!
