Our Hana matcha is an okumidori matcha that hails from Yame, a city on Kyushu Island in Japan, famous for its tea. Tea grown in Yame is known to have a very round taste with vibrant colour, natural sweetness and low astringency and bitterness. This is due to Yame’s climate, which is optimal for tea growing.

I really like this matcha. It has a vibrant green color to it. The powder sifts beautifully. I was skeptical at first because I am used to a stronger tasting matcha. Frauth lands about right in the middle IMO. 💚 I love the packaging. I hae beem drinking matcha for about 5 yrs. I am not am expert by any means.🙂 I think that this would be a great introduction to matcha for forst timers. Really great product.
