Cascade Backpack - Standard

I’m not used to backpacks so putting it on gracefully in crowded situations is taking some practice. I like that it holds a lot in a controlled way, if that makes sense. I do wish it was available in a lighter material as it’s rather heavy when empty. Quality construction and materials are major pluses.

I searched for quite awhile before my Portland purchase, looking for the perfect solution to a backpack that was well made and opened easily. I’m very pleased with the quality and features of my new backpack.

I’m taking it on its first trip and it’s a good piece. It’s stiffer than I expected, and the front pouch isn’t quite as roomy as I thought (which is why four stars instead of five) but otherwise it is pretty fabulous and works well with my existing gear. it holds everything that I wanna keep under the seat with a little room to spare. I imagine I will put some bling on it, and it will be my constant travel companion
