My readers were purchased in April 2023 and I use them only for business travel as candidly they’re delicate and feel flimsy compared to my regular pair. Ive used them maybe 15 times amd after i purchased an additional pair for an upcoming beach vacation I noticed that they’re discolored at the exact spot where the legs meet the fram when stored on both sides. I reached out to customer service to ask about repairs or replacements and what I got was a runaround where the representative first said, this is not expected, then contradicted themselves in the next message and said this is normal wear and tear and listed multiple reasons none of which apply. Candidly this was not only a disappointing experience. It’s inappropriate and unacceptable. Then optics cannot even compete with the cheapest drugstore bought readers that I used to use as disposable for travel that never ever discolored, nor wasted my time and insulted my intelligence, instead of just providing the most basic of customer service. I made the mistake of recommending thin optics to my colleagues and friends. Since then I followed up to tell them it’s just not worth the money the effort and the hassle.
