Reliable and durable product
The device does and performs as described. Feels like a premium device. Setting the date and time on the device was a bit difficult but following written instructions made it possible if you care about having correct timestamps for tests performed.

An Excellent Tool for Accountability and a Safer Sober Living Community!
The BACtrack Eclipse has been an excellent addition to our sober living program at RCVRY HOUSE! We use it to conduct alcohol testing with our program participants as part of our commitment to accountability and a safe, supportive, alcohol-free living environment.
Having a dedicated alcohol-testing device available at the house gives us a practical way to reinforce our program expectations and support the men who live here. Alcohol monitoring adds another layer of accountability and helps us address concerns with objective information rather than assumptions.
At RCVRY HOUSE, we are supporting each individual while also looking out for the well-being of the entire house community. When men are living together and working hard to build a new life in recovery, protecting that environment matters. The Eclipse is a valuable part of how we uphold that responsibility.
What I appreciate most is that testing does not have to be about catching someone doing something wrong. For us, it is about helping men succeed, recognizing when additional support may be needed, and maintaining an environment where everyone has the opportunity to move forward. Accountability delivered with compassion, consistency, and respect is an important part of our approach.
The Eclipse does not replace recovery coaching, community support, or the daily commitment sobriety requires, but it is an excellent tool to have alongside them. I highly recommend the BACtrack Eclipse to other sober living operators and recovery programs. We are grateful to have it as part of the support we provide at RCVRY HOUSE. An easy five-star recommendation!
