The Pocket

I’ve been doing bullet journaling of some sort for over a decade now (yeesh that makes me feel old), but I recently bought the book, and a pack of the pocket notebooks to try out the official offering. First, the orientation of the book is genius, it has made me look at all of the pocket sized notebooks sitting in my drawer half used and think “wait… I can totally use it like this”. I have brought the pocket notebook with me everywhere since I got it, and have tried to use it following the methodology from the book. I really enjoy it. The paper quality is great, I love the pocketability, and even though it’s mostly just a pocket sized notebook with page numbers, I’m happy to support seeing as I’ve been freeloading on the bullet journal method for so long. If you’re primarily looking for a portable way that to bullet journal that can fit into your life on the go, look no further.

This size, shape, soft cover, and lay out work so well for my use on a daily basis. The hard cover did not fit in my pocket or on the page of a book as this surly does. I do own the hard cover version, and it took me over a year to realize these little gems help make the BJ work for me. A thank you to Ryder's Dad who saw my need years before.
