These setters work about as well as the really cheap ones that came with the snaps I bought on eBay. They do a good job of mashing down the stud, not rolling it outward to grab the piece of hardware on the other side. I bought these hoping to get an improvement. Nope, they don’t even work with the snaps that came with them.

Really straight forward to use, feels like it's made of good quality material. A good tool to have in the leather making kit. Also, comes with snaps for to be able to get started right away.
