I bought the 20 lbs slam ball for my wife. She is a CrossFit coach and has been using slam balls for years; none of the balls she used before manifested like this one. It is unbalanced due to the air space in it which makes the sand inside constantly move and shift as you use it. The shifting of the sand causes a bit of
momentum upward at the top of the ball slam maneuver, which is exactly the point in time your arms and core were planning to drive downward. Thus, you need to be careful not to tweak your back, which is easy to do. Additionally, due to the shifting sand, the ball does not have a consistent bounce, which can also be an issue and a potential tweak on the lower back. The ball is also larger than the other 20lb slam balls she has used. Thus, I am very disappointed by the design of the slam ball, which again is unlike its competitors.

Slam Ball Fitness Report:
I don't know which is better, the Rep Slam Balls or the reps that support the purchase. I'm going to go with a tie of 5 stars for both - great support and great products! :)
