I've owned a BC125AT for several years, but needed a scanner to pick up digitals signals from the Cumbres & Toltec in New Mexico and Colorado. The scanner sounds great, especially on digital frequencies. My criticism is the fact that I can't use the same software program to upload the 125AT information to the 160DN. They aren't compatible, which meant I had to manually input the frequencies to the software for the 160DN.
My other criticism is the difficulty manually programming the scanner with the keypad for digital frequencies and never figured out how to do it. Maybe it's not possible.
Once I got the NAN code correct, the scanner worked perfectly.
With the 125AT, plugging in the charger started the scanner charging, now with the 160DN you have to reply Yes or No if you want to charge it. If you forget to hit Yes, it won't charge, leaving you with depleted batteries the next time you use it.
