Anti Vibration Module

The product serves its purpose and is also generally recommended for motorcycles due to sensitive phone components. However, I have a comment regarding the installation, specifically on the brake reservoir mount. The anti vibration module comes with two M5 screws (16 mm and 20 mm long) to be used depending on the mount, and they should be tightened to a torque of 5 Nm. The instructions also show that the screw must not engage too shallowly into the module's nut (which can easily fall out during installation since it is just inserted into the module from underneath) and that the tip of the screw must be flush with the bottom of the nut. However, the brake mount instructions state that the M5x16 screw should be used when installing the anti vibration module. Due to the pre-applied threadlocker on the tip of the thread, you have to exceed the 5 Nm torque to fully tighten the screw, as the dried threadlocker requires extra torque for a secure fit (at 5 Nm, the screw barely even entered the nut). After installing the 16 mm screw, it was not flush with the bottom of the nut. Therefore, I used the longer 20 mm screw instead, which protrudes from the nut by only 2 mm. This is not distracting at all, and it definitely holds much better than the 16 mm screw being 2 mm too short inside the nut.

Je suis extrêmement déçu qu’il n’y a pas eu de pièces de rechange pour convertir mes anciens supports anti vibrations, il n’y avait juste qu’à changer la pièce du milieu pour qu’elle soit compatible avec le nouveau système.
