Still trying to figure out how much to apply

This one is different with my skin than the other primer that has SPF. I think I need to apply less as I've noticed a cakey appearance around my nose, chin, and forehead as the day goes on into the afternoon. I do really appreciate the primers because I think it helps set up the face for a better application of the foundation; however, I think I am still trying to figure out how much of this to apply on my face to ensure it allows for a nice, smooth/blurred look for the whole day. Depending on the season of the weather, I think that also makes a difference for me as that depends on how my skin looks with dryness or oily look depending on winter/summer months. I will be continuing to use this as I really appreciate being able to use a primer before foundation and I hope to figure out the right dose to use for my face soon.
