"Think Notes" Reusable Sticky Notes

Perhaps my worst purchase ever

I am not exaggerating when I say that I have literally never in my life been so disappointed in something I spent my money on. My purpose in buying these sticky notes was to be able to have a reusable way to leave short notes to myself that I wanted to stick on a vertical surface/wall. I have tried these on MULTIPLE walls/vertical surfaces and they do not stick to anything in my office. Before someone asks -- yes, I peeled off the backing first (and then I tried some with the backing still on because it was so useless I wondered if I had done something wrong), and when that didn't work I tried rinsing off the (brand new) sticky notes with water. I tried multiple from the pack I was sent. They are all completely useless for this purchase. The only thing these notes would be good enough for would be if you wanted to use them on top of a horizontal surface like a desk. Even then, they slide around a bit. I was hoping to reduce my paper waste with the purchase of these sticky notes. Instead, I need to continue using my wasteful paper sticky notes because these don't do anything AND I have also contributed to extra plastic waste because I have literally no purpose at all for these little squares. They erase just fine but... I already have a whiteboard...
