The SP Universal Clamp is very versatile. However, I would recommend attaching a lanyard to the Smartphone or Smartphone case, and dropping it over the mounting bracket just in case the clamps come loose or you did not make them tight enough. I failed to do this once, my phone dropped out and the bike ran over it cracking the screen. It was expensive to replace the Smartphones screen.

A good quality case which fits my phone perfectly & holds it securely. It adds a little more glare to the screen, & its touch sensitivity is a bit more variable at times. It can also be fiddly to align to the mount & so its very disappointing that it does not incorporate the mag align feature to overcome this, which I feel makes it too expensive for a basic case.
