Light and fresh

Lime Sands has a very subtle lime scent which is nice, and after having it on for a bit I detect a hint of coconut, it makes me think of a summer vacation day. While it’s not a favorite for me I like that it’s a clean fresh scent as opposed to the many sugary sweet scents lately in the scent of the month.

Not Quite the Beachy Scent I Hoped For

I really wanted to enjoy Lime Sands because the notes sounded beautiful, but unfortunately it didn’t work very well on my skin. I can pick up the lime and coconut, along with an interesting dry, sandy quality that really does suit the name. However, something in the coconut accord develops into a Play-Doh-like scent to my nose, with lime perfume lingering in the background. It’s also more citrus-forward than I typically enjoy and became quite faint on me fairly quickly. I can see this working beautifully for someone who enjoys light, citrusy beach scents, but it just wasn’t a match for me.

Takes me to another place and time

I love the fresh smell of lime and anything fresh and clean, this citrus smell puts me in a beach setting sipping a margarita while smelling the ocean breeze with my feet in the waterr…. I’ll be purchasing this again when I run out …. Very happy with this purchase
