It works!
Our Tempest quit working. We thought it was in the wrong place, so we moved it and made sure it got a lot of dun. Still didn't work. Tempest folks assured me it would work with the booster, and it works great!!

Saved me $350
My Tempest solar batteries were no longer making it through cloudy days. I thought about getting a new one and then I got the offer for this battery powered assist, and it has solved the problem.

Power Booster
Ordered it after having 7 days of clouds and rain and the battery ran down on my Tempest.
The system works as described, but I would like to see a water resistant system. I had to make a protective cover for it using a plastic container.
I would have to think that on the majority of the systems, they are outside and subject to rain and snow. Not making the unit waterproof would have been what I would have expected from a company that is trying to show it's leadership in the development of state of the art Weather Station.
