A nice upgrade, though screen esthetics feel backward.

This is an upgrade from my much older scale, Acaia pearl, whose battery has degraded too much for my liking. For me, it functions identically, possibly a little bit better for the reaction times and how nicely it manages adding weight and small gradual increments. I also like that it came default with a soft beep rather than a loud beep like the original. The original, loud beep and silent were the only options, so I opted for silent. Only negative I found so far is I don’t like the LCD design layout. Instead of a nice clean straight up and down or right slanted display, it has a left slanted display, which looks awkward, and like it’s a second, like I purchased somebody’s mistake.
