DISCOVERY SET

These are a must have, the quality of the vials are amazing and the presentation is great. I ordered FAME15, Monarch, Forbidden Plum and Dark Shadow. I would say overall I’m happy with the purchases, I would also add that the scents require time to mascerate and mature. They smell great but need that extra TLC in order to get these over the line. Out of the scents I purchased I would have to say Dark Shadow was a swing and a miss. I have sampled the original and it’s one of my favourites. This version the rose is way too jammy and in your face, whilst the original is softer with sweetness coming from Apple. The leather on Dark Shadow is really abrasive and harsh almost coming off like burnt rubber or camp fire smoke. It’s definitely no way near the original which is a shame because I wanted to love it. Monarch is the closest to the original minus the strength, which I would put down to needing some time to marinade a bit. FAME15 is amazing, I haven’t smelt the original but for this version you get this sweet almost gourmand apple crumble on the top where the plum is soo fruity and realistic, it dries down to a nice creamy creme brûlée, definitely looking forwards to wearing this one in the cold weather. And finally forbidden plum, I have smelt the original and remember them differently, here the top is very much Japanese plum liquor heavy, you get the alcohol vibe the dry down is nice and dark. I’m hoping this one rounds off after leaving it for a few weeks to mature. Would definitely try more samples

Scents are very well done. Quality is overall very good. I've been very happy so far. Just wish they sold samples that were a little cheaper.
