Super cute, but seams sometimes rip easily

I love the look of this dress, but I've found that the seams do rip easily sometimes. I have a bunch because I love the look, but the seams between layers have ripped on four of them. I can sew them together easily, so I don't mind, but I wanted to share that it may be an issue.

I bought two and love them! One note: they're HUGE! I'm a USA size 20 or 2X, so I bought the 14-32, and they're way too big. Plus, I'm 5ft tall so they're too long. I can alter the length by shortening the top of the dresses, but they're still too big.
