I’ve been using the VMC crossover rings several years and prefer them to the O ring style or using no rings at all and just hooking through the soft plastic. VMC Crossover rings are far superior for several reasons first VMC offers several sizes and three color options, enabling anglers to find the perfect match to the color or size bait. Second they prolong the life of the bait, depending on bait manufacturers some are very soft and tear easily others are a bit more dense and resistant to tearing. Third they make it possible to catch more fish on one bait providing longer lasting use of your soft plastics. Fourth they have two rigging options for wacky style your hook can be parallel or perpendicular to the bait. For Neko rigging the parallel option allows the bait to be presented more naturally.
