8 Black Tees Fell Apart, Exchange Came Wrong, First Wear Started Unraveling

**1 star. I bought an 8-pack of Into The AM black no-logo tees. They did not survive first contact with a human body.** The first batch started coming apart like they were assembled with leftover thread and a shrug. I exchanged them. That should have been the end of it. It was not. The replacement box arrived with 3 of the wrong color. Not a close miss. Wrong. After I already spent time returning shirts that could not stay sewn together. I put on the first black one from the second shipment. A long thread was already hanging off the sleeve. Not from a wash. Not from a dryer. From putting the shirt on. It was coming out of the hem at the arm, unraveling like the stitch never meant to stay. That is not wear. That is a shirt that left the factory unfinished. Ardie in customer service was excellent. Fast, clear, actually useful. She is the only part of this company that behaved like a grown-up. That is the problem. I should not have needed that many emails, photos, and follow-ups to buy a pack of black t-shirts. A basic tee should not require a case manager. If your quality control cannot tell black from not-black, and your hems give up on first wear, stop selling "premium packs." You are selling a customer-service problem with a cotton-poly label on it. Ardie deserves a brand that does not send her into battle over shirts that fall apart and then show up in the wrong color. I hope she finds one. Into The AM is not it.

Inconsistent

Have bought many if these shirts over the past years. The sizing is inconsistent and unpredictable of late. Material weight has changed since the “beginning” Very soft. The fit is still better than off the shelf tshirts…. Things have changed though

Comfortable fit, acceptable quality

Item I received had some poor stitching in the bottom hem that came loose on first wash. Despite this, product is still wearable, kept its shape, and has held up for a year. Good enough to come back for more!
