I enjoy using it.
I am really enjoying using my Sierra Rod on Rock Creek here in Red Lodge, MT where I live. It makes fly fishing on this small stream more basic and much simpler. Set up is quick, casting simpler and I think controlling drag easier. I had to work on my setting the hook detail a little but that has been a minor adjustment.

surprised by how fun
Bought the book first, bought 2 rods and acc. the 2nd for my wife. practice on our pond was crazy fun! every fish that swims were caught just by changing presentation. a 2.5# Tilapia on a Tenkara rod was a challenge. we have since used our Sierra rods on small rivers and streams, more challenging but same simple approach. we Love it. and looking for a longer open water rod for a little heavier fish too, maybe there will be a sale?

Awesome setup!
Love this rig! Perfect for van life. Super compact for a van lifer! Hit the creek, lake, any body of water!!!! Let’s go fishing! Seems to be very well built! No issues whatsoever!
