Classic Dark Drinking Chocolate

Weirdly flavorless

I love Ragged Coast, so I'm sorry to write that I found this mix to be strangely lacking in flavor. I've purchased many artisanal dark hot chocolate mixes and am not looking for Swiss Miss, but there was no sweetness at all despite the 70 percent profile, nor any identifiable flavor. The cocoa powder itself simply wasn't inspiring. Maybe the company could look into creating a single-source variety that would have notes of something. I'm not sure adding the powder to a recipe would help either, as it honestly tastes like nothing to me.

Divine decadence in a mug

This cocoa is the best I've ever had! So flavorful and rich. I had to slowly sip and savor it. Needed to add one tablespoon of granulated sugar. Used Lactaid full fat milk. A special treat for a cold wintery day. My boyfriend loves it as well.
