I’m kind of a big deal. Why? Because I invented the whole sip-or-swig thing. Hold me upright and sip through my built-in straw, or tilt me back to swig through the wide-mouth opening. But that’s not all—one push and I pop open, one push and I’m locked tight (bye bye, leaks). Basically, I’m the overachiever of water bottles, and darn proud

Our family loves the Owala FreeSip water bottles. Our 3 kids wanted Stanleys because kids at school had them, but when they saw the cool colors and practical design of the Owala, they wanted them instead. All 5 of us have our own colors, and our Owalas go everywhere with our family. We love that you can either sip through the straw, or tip the bottle up and guzzle. Now lots of other kids at school are converting to Owala.

Exterior scratches easily
We bought these two bottles as replacements for our kids' Yeti bottles.
While the Owala bottles are easy to clean and the kids like that they can use the straw or gulp functions, the exterior scratches incredibly easily. Not what we hoped for or expected! Our kids (8 and 10) are careful kids but still they use these daily at school. Other water bottle brands do not show use/normal wear & tear so easily. And their friends who have Owala bottles seem to have a different exterior. Our bottles have a shiny exterior whereas their friends' bottles have a rougher matter finish/texture. Perhaps we ordered the wrong ones?

I purchased the free sip water cup for my granddaughter and shortly after using the water cup the handle broke. Emailed your company and I was so impressed by the customer service I received. Thank you and so far so good with this new cup!
