Bought my first pair 12 years ago. They survived all sorts of regular wear, hard wear, rain and camping. I bought them again to replace my worn old pair and I was mindblown that the design, materials, quality and finishing have not changed at all. Thank you for still making my favourite sandals with the same quality after all these years!

One giant issue with it....
They're technically perfect for my size (15US), and are never crooked like other sandals that usually have Velcro straps.
But.....for some reason, the arch of my left foot is different. I wore them, the first day, and started to feel the strap pulling my skin back and forth. At first, I believed it was just because of the warm weather, so ignored it, but eventually, maybe after 30 minutes, it got more painful, and I saw that I had an abrasion injury that was perpendicular to my foot - the injury was on the right side (of my left foot); parallel to the strap, of course. Now I can't use the sandals for a few weeks until I heal. For some reason, my right foot is completely unaffected.
Do you guys have any idea of how to prevent this again? Do I need to get used to it until the skin in that spot develops something like a callouse? Because I don't believe that is possible on the arch. Maybe Vaseline could help? But I don't want to degrade the leather.
