MRE Protein Bars

I used to buy Redcon1 MRE bars all of the time so I was super excited that these were on sale. I did not realize that they changed the formula in the texture of these bars. There was a rice crunch to the topping that was delicious prior and the taste was just amazing for a protein bar. They were literally top of the line. Currently, they are extremely chewy almost to the point of being comical how much you have to chew and the taste is absolutely disgusting. There is barely any edible taste in these. I don’t know if they are going out of business and decided to make things cheaper, but you can absolutely tell that these cheap bars are not worth it at all. I would get a gas station protein bar over this.

Honestly, if you were going to re-create something after you guys had some of the best protein bars, you guys should’ve just left well enough alone and not created this. These are terrible. They’re so chewy thick and almost not edible. What was the point? These are actually disgusting, I read a review that said the flavor was subpar. I think that’s being generous. These are actually not edible in my personal opinion.

Received my order in its entirety, but when it arrived, the single bar, as well as several in the box, appeared to have melted, then cooled several times over. My single bar just crumbled when i tried to eat it. When i would purchase from my local GNC, i never encountered any like this. I reached out to customer service the following day on this issue. The response: crickets. I still have yet to hear back from them. I hate to day this but i will probably start looking at other brands/options.
