I've had the hanks Xtreme for years and love that belt. I lost weight and ordered a smaller one. The quality isn't the same, the thickness is that of a regular belt, it's not even close to the thickness of my older belt. I understand that there is some variation in thickness of hide but this is a huge variation. I wouldn't think it was the same model of belt. Seems like a stark drop in quality. I'm still going to use it as a work belt but I think I'll be looking for a different company for my belts going forward. I've bought many belts from Hanks for family and friends and never saw any drop in quality like this. Pretty disappointed

Hanks Belts stands behind its products! I recently had a belt replaced under warranty, and the customer care was excellent. This is my 3rd belt from Hanks and quite honestly, this one just doesn’t compare to my first 2. The leather was dry, stiff and with rough edges. I used the conditioner I bought previously from Hanks with slight improvement. I find myself reaching for my first Hanks belt as my go to. Just disappointed in this one.
