Like them

I loved my new Hadley sneakers in almond newbuck so much I ordered the same in black. While I like them, I think they look too much like chucks. That is due to the black stripe around the rubber sole which the almond newbuck does not have. The almond newbuck looks more like a high end sneaker which can be dressed up or down. The black leather Hadleys look more like a gym sneaker. Yes the leather is nice and soft, so far these fit a little snugger and the tongue of the shoe gets bunched up when I put them on and it's difficult to grab at the tongue to pull it out. However, I believe that will loosen in time. So while I like my new Hadley sneakers in black leather, I don't love them as much as the Almond Newbuck.
