Finally got a sub-3 finish
My first marathon did not go well due to various mistakes I made in training with a poorly followed Hal Higdon plan, and I didn't think about another marathon attempt until years later.
By the 3rd marathon I had found the Ben Parkes plans and I have used them from L3 to L5. I finished my tenth marathon at Twin Cities this past weekend and finally broke the sub-3 barrier. The clear pace ranges for training and focus on steady increase of mileage from plan to plan really worked for me.
If you need something to get you from "I just want to finish," to "I just want to get under 4," to "I want to get a sub-3," this worked for me and might work for you.

A very well-prepared plan.
The plan's structure is very user-friendly. All the labels are clear and intuitive. I’m already looking forward to seeing how my race turns out.
