We teach large numbers of students about grassland ecology, which means they're often out in the middle of sunny fields. These tents with the adapter straps made our life so much easier. They're light and just bounce in the wind instead of flying away and breaking like our previous metal-framed tent. The plastic screws were surprisingly strong (I was skeptical) and didn't break even on windy days. We can fit so many more students under them per pound of material that we won't be going back to metal frames anytime soon. We're hoping to get a few more! It's great for us that there are discounted pre-used ones as well. I couldn't tell they weren't brand new.
