I think they are an absolutely beautiful pair of glasses, but apparently my family wasn't quite ready for such a bold style yet. 😄 So I returned them and ordered the new Howlin instead. I'm sure I'll be more than happy with them, and hopefully this time my family will approve of my purchase too. ;-)

Great sunglasses

Vallon sunglasses fit very well, Look cool and are best in class if used on sailing tour on the ocean. Theo protect eyes very well and give a clear view.

Look cool, but too flimsy for more serious trekking

Bought these instead of the Heron mountain/glaciers for the polarised lenses, however the frames are pretty flimsy, and the lenses got badly scratched within 2 days of the 9 day hike we were on. Haven't had this problem with my previous pair of sunnies which have lasted 5 years and still counting, which I would have treated in a similar way. Hence if you're buying purely for aesthetics I'd recommend, however for more extreme activities they're just not a robust enough piece of kit.
