These pants are great. I wore them on an elk hunt in Alaska where it was very wet. The pants did their best to keep me dry, but ultimately Alaska won. I do not believe anything is Alaska waterproof except full on rubber fishing gear. I like the full side zips for ventilation and being able to put them on or take them off without taking my boots off. I will probably add them to my go to hardshell for any mountaineering or hunting objective.

I love these rain pants and after years of use I gave them to my guide who's current rain gear was in tatters. I reordered new rain gear at the airport on the way home and a couple days after I made it home my new rain gear arrived. Best rain gear I have ever owned, lite weight and dependable they will always be in my pack for when I need them.

Lifesaver. These were a last minute purchase. Weather was calling for rain 5 out of the 7 days of the hunt. 6000’ ft elevation first week of September saw rain and snow. Hiked the steep backcountry 10 mile days through thick brush and blowdown. These pants held up great and didn’t leak. Paired with good gaiters and boots. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a pair of rain pants that can handle the abuse.
