Luffa (Luffa aegyptiaca)
Luffa gourds have very fibrous interiors when fully ripe and can easily be peeled to make a wonderful eco-friendly sponge. Luffas grow on vines up to 20' long and do well on a fence or trellis. As a heat and sun-loving plant, they require 150-200 warm days to fully mature. We sow ours as early as possible in April

Our weather has been wonky here in Colorado so haven’t gotten them in the ground yet. No fault of the wonderful seeds tho! They are hanging in there in the trays for now lol
