Bear Original

This is the 3rd Bear Original that I have purchased. At some point between the 2nd one and this one, the design changed. I don’t find this one as comfortable as the previous ones. It does not feel as firm and I don’t sleep as well. It also does not come with a mattress cover, which the others did. Overall, I feel like it’s a cheaper quality product for the same price. I recommended the old one to everyone, but after this one, I’ve changed my mind.

Good, not great

I spent a lot of time trying to find the perfect mattress for my toddler- most important thing being safe materials. Five stars for that. However, that's pretty much where the positivity ends. The bed is fine- but its much more firm/stiff than we thought it would be. There is absolutely no give or cushion to it, so its not super comfortable. We have a boring mattress, and honestly, for the price, that's probably what I would have picked if I could do it again. I would say its good for a guest room, but for every day, kinda the worst.

Bear Original

I purchased a Bear original mattress in 2019 and was thoroughly impressed with it and decided to buy another one in 2026. However, the quality has gone down a lot which is unfortunate because now I have to search for another mattress to replace the cheaply manufacturered Bear mattress. The mattress is okay but definitely would not recommend this brand to anyone now that they have lowered their manufacturing quality.
