The Taiga fan truss plate is a 5-spoke "fan plate". Fan plates are used to connect the bottom tie beam of a truss to two struts and a king post. The Taiga fan truss plate has 4" wide spokes along the tie beam and 3" wide spokes on the king post and struts. Struts radiate out at 45° angles.
