I was disappointed in the matte finish of this particular color. I have used the Dazzle system in my Salon for a couple of years and have never had a problem. I have loved the system and the longevity of the polish. Never a chip!
A week ago I used the color “Passionate Red” and my manicurist and I both noticed that the finish was “matte” and not crème. It was odd because all other Dazzle polishes are crème and gloss when applied. Obviously when the topcoat is applied that seals the deal of a beautiful high gloss finish. Within 3 days the polish was chipped and receding from the nail bed. By day 4 my nails were a disaster and I had to return to the salon for a polish change. I think this particular polish which dries as “matte” is the problem. Again, although with the topcoat it will bring the gloss, it seems odd that other Dazzle polishes do not have this problem.
