The Wooten SlabProof Tech Sock is a cushioned crew work sock built for tradesmen who spend long shifts standing on concrete.
Dense terry cushion is mapped under the heel and ball where hard floors hit hardest, and kept thin everywhere else so the sock does not pack out a work boot. The heel and toe are reinforced with double knit nylon

They’re actually pretty comfortable to walk around in and seem well padded and tough. My only note would be that they not stretchy and are a bit tight. Might have been better to have gone up a size which is not something I’ve ever had to do with socks before.

My husband rips out his socks in the heels all the time. He has very high arches and his feet hurt by the end of the day. I found these socks and ordered. Hubby has loved these socks since he put them on! We shall see how they hold up.
