Vacuum Tubes
As I have only just received the book judging it is rather difficult. However, just a perusal of the contents and a quick random read of various topics I found the book interesting and probably very useful after a good read. As the author explains in the introduction, the book is designed for those with some electronics experience but who want to understand and work with vacuum tubes (or valves in English). Warnings concerning the high voltages usually involved with valves and charged capacitors are given but these are accompanied by advice to help the beginner develop the required skills to handle those problems safely.
