HITnRun phase one LP

A great late-era album

A different sound for Prince on the first side. Its certainly different. But it’s the 2nd side that is perfection for me. June is a masterpiece.

A DIFFERENT PHASE

For me, "HITnRUN Phase One" was good- but not great! I really didn't like nor care for the dubstep style/sound that Prince was going for on this album. It threw me off, even though I know that he was always innovative with new and different musical sounds. To be honest, Phase One opened up for me starting with "Fallinlove2nite" and went on from there to the end of the album. My favorite jam on here is "1000 X's & O's". I play that track on repeat. Again, I liked Phase One, but I didn't love it. Phase Two is way better in my opinion.
