Onyx

A clearly rose-dominant opening with pronounced persistence. The rose defines the character for a significant portion of the wear and remains present for an unusually long time. Only as it develops do vanilla, chocolate, and plum emerge more distinctly, adding warmth and a darker depth to the composition. The base of patchouli, oud, amber, and musk provides stability and substance without overshadowing the floral signature. The structure remains coherent throughout, and the performance is, as expected from an extrait, strong. In the opening, it leans quite opulent and intensely floral to my nose; the drydown feels notably more balanced and rounded. Consistently unisex, with a clear appeal to those who appreciate bold, dark rose-driven fragrances.
